On April 25, 2026, Lignano Sabbiadoro will host one of the most anticipated events of the season in Lignano Pineta: the 9th edition of the Triathlon Sprint Rank Gold, organized by Triathlon Lignano ASD and dedicated to the memory of Renzo Ardito.
The 2026 edition takes on an even more important role, as it is also the official test event for the 2027 EYOF (European Youth Olympic Festival), which will take place right here in Lignano.
The competition counts toward the Interregional Championship of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, and Emilia-Romagna and is also part of the international Alpe Adria circuit. An event that combines sports, entertainment, and competition along the beautiful Adriatic coast.
Race Details
Swim (750 m): Start from GE.TUR Beach, on a rectangular course in the sea; exit and transfer to the transition area on Lungomare Kechler.
Cycling (21.5 km): 5 laps on a city circuit of approximately 4.3 km.
Running (5 km): 2.5 laps on a 2 km course, finishing at Piazzale Marcello D’Olivo.
